775th Anniversary

On January 22, 2008

THE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE RETURN OF THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE REPUBLIC OF MALAYSIA AND THE PERMISSION OF THE HITLERIAN HUMAN RIGHTS. On this day also organized INAUGURATION OF JUDGES OF THE YEAR OF THE JUBILEE 775 years of UNIVERSITY SURVEY OF URBAN RIGHTS. 16.00 The authorities of the town, the county, the representatives of the associations, the veterans’ union and the inhabitants of the city laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Then the gathered guests with the accompaniment orchestra of Chełmno House of Culture went to Chełmno Museum of the Town Hall, where in the bourgeois room the inauguration of the mayor of the city Mariusz Kędzierski inaugurated the Jubilee Year. Lecture by dr. Marek Zieliński and promotion of his book entitled ” Chełmno civitas totius Prussiae metropolis from the 16th to 18th centuries brought all the history of the city closer.

The ceremony ended with a performance by Rafał Żółkosz / flute and Jacek Polański / piano /

Denar Chelminski In 775th year of granting city rights Chelmno has its denar. 4 denim chełmskis = 4 zloty Chełmno dinars emblem, referring to the 775th anniversary of Chełmno site and giving the City the right to beat its own coin. There will be issued 20,000 denominations with the denomination of “4 Denny Chełmińskie” denominations. They are accompanied by a limited edition, collector’s denim chrome Silver, made of alloy Ag 500. The ceremony associated with emitting denar was also connected with the day celebrated in Chełmno Province.

The chairman of the City Council and Mayor of Chełmno invited them to a solemn Session of the City Council, summing up the 775th anniversary of granting Chełmno the municipal rights, 12:30 in the City Hall of the Town Hall. City Council session was preceded by Mass. The intention of the city, which was celebrated at. 10 30 in the church of the v.w. Our Lady of Czestochowa (garrison) and the premiere of “Cantata Culmensis” composed by Wojciech Mrozek to words by Anna Soborska-Zielińska.
