There are thirteen sports clubs in the city the oldest of which is the Popular City Sports Club 'Nadwislanin’ training athletes and cross-country runners. The Pupils’ Sports Club Nadwislanin / Sokol is focused on canoeing. The City Interschool Sports Club (MMKS) gathers table tennis players. The Chelmno Youth Basketball Club (MCHKK) has taken over its basketball traditions from CHKK. The Chelmno Boxing Club (CHKB) is a centre of boxing and continues the activities of KS FAM. Martial arts can be practiced in the Chelmno Kyokushin Karate Club (CHKKK). The Motor Club ‘Wisla’ gathers motocross riders and is the only one of this kind in the district. The Pupils’ Sports Club - Secondary School Sports Club ‘Siso-Pol Culmen’ focuses on volleyball. You can train football in the sports club ‘Chelmianka’ (former KS FAM) and swimming in UGKS ‘Orka’. There is the Pupils’ Sports Club ‘Chelmno’ attached to the Primary School No. 2 where mountain biking is the main focus. There is also TKKF (Society for Spreading Physical Culture) in Chelmno with the following sections: volleyball players, basketball players, table tennis players, body builders, and runners. There is a league with city games organized for the first three disciplines. There are also amateurs practicing ballooning, horseback riding, bowling, paragliding, swimming, pool and tennis.
